AppGrade your Classroom​

This course is designed for all the educators in pre-primary, primary and secondary education who want to spice up their teaching with technology. Learn more about apps that can upgrade your teaching environment, the use of AI in education and more!

COURSE VENUE: 

Nicosia, Cyprus. During the course there will be some visits in schools. The transportation expenses are included in the fees.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

• To develop competences regarding the use of technology as a tool in education

• To understand the benefits that the integration of technology will bring to education

• To develop skills for integrating various apps and software in their lessons

• To develop communication, collaboration, presentation, problem-solving, negotiation, critical & creative thinking skills

• To share best practices and transfer knowledge and methods between different cultural zones regarding the use of technology in real classrooms

METHODS:

A variety of methods will be implemented in order to give both theoretical and practical support to the teachers. The participants will have the opportunity to participate in lectures, workshops, team activities, case studies and visits to real classes in order to have an integrated training.

DAY 2

• Learning apps that improves classrooms management

• Gamification in learning. Apps that bring learning through fun!​​

DAY 3

• Case studies: AppGrading traditional lesson plans

• Hands-on workshops of integrating technology into lesson plans​

DAY 4

• Workshop: AI in education

DAY 5

• Practical workshop: Case studies

• Award ceremony
