COURSE VENUE: 

Larnaca, Cyprus. Throughout the course, participants will visit local schools, with transportation integrated into the course fees.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

• Embrace nature as an integral part of the educational experience, nurturing a profound connection between students and the natural world

• Equip educators with innovative strategies to integrate eco-practices into their teaching methodologies

• Cultivate an appreciation for the environment among both educators and students

METHODS:

Engage in a dynamic blend of experiential learning methods, combining theoretical insights with practical experiences. Participants will embark on guided eco-walks, partake in eco-workshops, engage in interactive group activities, and participate in reflective discussions, all aimed at deepening their understanding of eco-conscious education principles.

DAY 1

• Course orientation: Introduction to eco-conscious education principles

• Individual needs and expectations assessment

DAY 2

• Exploring the benefits of eco-conscious education: integrating nature into the curriculum

• Hands-on workshops on incorporating eco-friendly activities into lesson plans

• Workshop: designing and implementing nature-based learning experiences
